Event Name: SPARTANS – THE BATTLE (PlayerVersusPlayer)

• Description/explanation of the event:

8 players for each category choosen by the GameMasters.
The battle for each categorie a.k.a “DAY” will be on the specified place and 2 players will fight each other,

each fight with 3 rounds and the winner that beats the 7 players will win the Event here is an explanation:

ROUND 1
P1 vs P2 = P1 wins
P3 vs P4 = P4 wins
P5 vs P6 = P5 wins
P7 vs P8 = P8 wins

ROUND 2
P1 vs P4 = P4 wins
P5 vs P8 = P8 wins

ROUND 3
P4 vs P8 = P4 Wins

This means that the winner of the event is P4.
There are 6 categories aka “DAY’s” which means that there will be only 6 winners out of 48 players.

DAY – 1) Lvl 64-74 – Location: Jangan – Tiger Mountain
DAY – 2) Lvl 76-82 – Location: Jangan Fortress – Gate of Resurrection
DAY – 3) Lvl 85-90 – Location: Jangan – Bandit Stronghold
DAY – 4) Lvl 95-100 – Location: Hotan – Close to the Guild Storage
DAY – 5) Lvl 101-103 – Location: Taklamakan – Battle Arena

• How to be one of the Choosen(participate) of the event

• Rules.

– Users lower than 52 won’t be able to participate on this event
– Vigors NOT</strong Allowed, using it will make you loose the battle and your opponent will advance to the next round.
– If your not online the day of your fight you'll get automacally disqualified from the event (So try to be online the day of your fight).
– Each categorie will be controlled/moderated by a GameMaster
– Each categorie will have only 1 winner.
– Each categorie will be on a exact place, if a user interfeer with the battle will get banned for 2 hours.
– If you loose the battle you can't complain [b]IF YOUR OPPONENT HAVE A BETTER WEAPON WE DON'T CARE.[/b]

• Prize.

50 points + Spartan Dress (no blues)

Note: If an user Interfeer the battle in middle of a fight he will get an infraction and will get banned for 2 hours… if he interfeer again he will get banned till all the events ENDS (6 days).

IMPORTANT: Do not complain if your opponent have a better weapon than yours, It’s your character and your suppose to make your character stronger by making strong weapons and good protection.

There’s a new version of the client 1.314, to update simply change the IP to iSRO and execute silkroad.exe wait for it to be patched and change back to GrindRoad IP to play.

If you don’t patch to the new version you’ll see the servers in “Check”

Server & Information last days report.

Hello GrindRoad players,

As some of you know, i couldn’t update the blog because of some personal problems but I’m back to this, so, time to keep Up-To-Date the blog.

Here is the information that Ufonose reported to the users on the new forum about the server not-24/7 and the bugs.

here is some information regarding our progress and i hope i can answer some questions i see alot lately.

i have not much time to work on grindroad atm but currently i am working on the DC issues.
thats what is still left:

– DC at connecting (you have to try 2-3 times to get in)
– DC when spawning at crowded places
– DC after visiting stall (fixed yesterday)
– DC when walking around
– DC after teleport / respawn

the DC problems are very annoying and thats the reason there is no 24/7 atm, i rather open the servers 2 hours aday in a controlled way than scare players away with a buggy 24/7 crap everyone saw before with other emulators.

when i find all the problems listed above, i will start finishing the damage and every skill in the game. the reason i want to find the current DCs first is i dont want them to interfere with new DCs from the skills.
please keep reporting the bugs, i will fix them on the go.

So, i guess that this explains everything, lately many people have been asking me the same question on MSN, so here is the answer of that question.

Our new forum engine is finally installed therefore we are happy to announce that our new forum is online.
Important bugs are fixed and all important guides and threads were reposted on new forum.

After we’re done finishing few things off,we will announce link here.

Server information.

Hello GrindRoad players,

Many people want to know when the server and here is the answer of that question.

SERVERS OPEN AT 20:00 and close at 22:00 GMT+2.

That’s it.

Client version is 1.312

Hello GrindRoad players,

As some of you know, the client updated to the version 1.312, so you’ll have to update to that version in order to play on the server.

To update the client if your using the media-patcher, simply put back the iSRO ip and patch it, the put back GrindRoad IP and play, servers will open back again tomorrow to test again what Iorveth said in the past post.

Servers online today!

Yeah,you’ve read it right,you’re not dreaming.

Server will go online today in around 15 minutes and we will need you guys to test it 😉
Ufonose made heavy experimental version and it HAS to be tested so you can get better gameplay and more bugfixes.

The servers are offline because of what Ufo said on his twitter, if you don’t know what he said here it is:

just discovered some design flaws – so i am taking a week off – no time for grindroad atm anyway (servers are open until midnight)

There is no OPENING time, we don’t know when the server is going to open back, MAYBE(not 100% sure) on saturday, Ufonose is taking a week off so please be patience and stop spaming the blog with comments and spamming me on msn.

Hopefully you understand this and understand that Ufonose needs at least some time off, maybe he didn’t left the servers open because if something happen with them bad things could happen.

Servers are offline.

Iridium and Plutonium are offline, i don’t know the exact time that the server will open back so please be patience, also the FORUMS are offline due to the massive spam of the users.

Do not ask us about the registrations neither post on the forums, since the registrations opens 30 minutes everyday, so keep an EYE on Ufonose twitter which can be found in the right(->) sidebar or (http://www.Twitter.com/Ufonose)
